Sitting for a moment

On the curb to reflect

In the adjoining parking lot

Of the shopping strip of you name it

– Kroger, Goodwill, that Mexican joint –

Starbucks and Little Caesar’s the closest

 

I hear a wrestling

Perhaps just wind

Or a small creature

Of a tiny wooded area

I don’t know it just quite yet

But oh how my senses are now lit
