I just got back from family vacation, and we had a blast! Fun places to go, amazing food, good times. I was even inspired to write a poem at one of the many places we went. Enjoy!
“Stingray”
Known as a car of envy
Down the street on a stroll
Or perhaps the bat of the sea
With eyes that pierce the soul
Spongy, slimy existence
At least on top, now I know
Little ones swim by with persistence
As the larger ones cruise by you slow
Their silent dispositions eek mysteriousness
Both kinds are at the St. Louis Zoo
In the dozens, though seemingly more
Bring the family ‘cuz there’s more to do
Look, touch, and get your pictures galore
