Further away
They’re rather gray
But drawing nearer
We see their patchwork
Compared to others
Oaks too are quite gray
Cedars more a copper hue
Yet ours is a mix of the two
Patches thick or tall
Some short and small
In the center of each one
Stares their pale orange face
Just take a walk with me
Amid the ducks and lakes
And there we’ll see, you find
The same artwork in the pines
